ORBEL 20
A possibly interesting gather escaped my attention until too late: the 20th Conference on Quantitative Methods for Decision Making, which was held yesterday and the day before. I particularly would have liked to hear two of the plenary sessions:
- Didier Dubois on "Non-Bayesian Statistics and Possibility Theory"
- Philippe De Wilde on "Micro-Economic Multi-Agent Systems that Trade Populations"
- Blocking probability in packet-switching bufferless telecommunication networks with a tree topology
- Econometric mathematical programming for agricultural policy support
- Air traffic flow management problem, constraint programming versus integer programming
- Constructing a consensus ranking in the case of missing data when no ties are allowed
- An axiomatic characterization of different majority concepts
- Decision model elicitation: Proposal of a new method and experimental comparison
- Trust networks in recommender systems
- A multiple criteria analysis for household solid waste management in the urban community of Dakar
- Multiple criteria decision analysis as a platform for the implementation of socially responsible development projects
- Decision aiding for the selection of road pavements and surfacing
